Magnetek to Exhibit Space-Saving Quattro® AC Elevator Drive at Interlift 2013

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - October 10, 2013
Magnetek, Inc., will be exhibiting its newest elevator drive, the space-saving Quattro AC, at interlift 2013 being held in Messe Augsburg, Germany, on October 15-18, 2013. Magnetek’s HPV® 900 Series 2 and the Hollister-Whitney Gearless Traction Machine will also be on display at the Company’s stand, 5104.

The new Quattro AC clean power drive is designed to meet today’s growing need for green building solutions. The innovative drive comes in an evolutionary new compact design that takes up less than one-quarter the space of the standard Quattro AC drive and includes integrated regeneration, near unity power factor, and less than eight percent Total Harmonic Current Distortion.

Magnetek’s HPV 900 Series 2 AC elevator drive can be used in open loop, closed loop, and permanent magnet (PM) operation modes. Now available with Normal Duty and Heavy Duty overload current ratings, the HPV 900 Series 2 is designed for both new installations and modernization projects. With an optional regeneration module available, HPV 900 Series 2 continues our 35-year focus on providing elevator-specific, energy-efficient products.

Customers now have the opportunity to purchase any Magnetek AC elevator drive with the Hollister-Whitney Gearless Traction Machine and Rope Gripper®. Hollister-Whitney’s products, combined with a Magnetek AC elevator drive, are used to operate elevators smoothly, quietly, and coolly and can function with any car controller. The convenient package will be available for new installations and modernization projects in the United Kingdom and Europe.
